President / Owner
Want to remain in your home for life, but just aren't quite sure how? According to a recent AARP study, 83% of Americans age 50+ want to remain in their homes, but only 1 in 6 home owners has made the necessary modifications to allow them to age in place safely and comfortably.
Adaptive Living specializes in comprehensive home safety and environmental modification evaluations for those who wish to remain in their home or setting of their choice as long as possible.
Owner, Shana Gatschet is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist (OT) and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). This combination makes Adaptive Living uniquely qualified to provide the necessary recommendations to ensure safety and independence now and in the future. Insurance is accepted and services may be free for those who qualify for OT services.
My goal is to help individuals gain peace of mind about their future and to age in a place of their choice, not a place one may be forced into simply because their home is not accessible. My heart is with helping those remain in their homes, as long, safe and independent as possible. - Shana Gatschet
